Community Guidelines

These guidelines describe how we expect people to treat each other on WhoIsNear. They are a starting draft and are not yet final or legally reviewed.

Be respectful. Harassment, threats, hate speech, exploitation, scams, spam, and impersonation are not allowed.

Get consent. Never post another person’s phone number, image, private message, or location without their permission.

Use intents honestly. Say what you actually mean — intents are for real plans, not misleading offers.

Report, don’t retaliate. Use the in-app report and block tools if someone makes you uncomfortable.

This app is not an emergency service. In an emergency, contact local emergency services directly.
